"where Sunni and Shia are living and working together"

Oh, yes, it's all a wonderland of neighbor caring about neighbor.

Under Saddam, neighborhoods were actually integrated, but that's not really the case now.

Sunnis have their enclaves and Shiites theirs.

Bush is a MORON and all his policies have been MORONIC, yet YOU seem to want to defend them.

It has NOTHING to do with Party Affiliation or any sort of ideology, it's just TRUE.

I don't understand why you would want to blindly defend stuff that has no defense.

"GWB has successfully brought Democracy to Iraq and 10 or 15 years from now the importance of this event will be clear."

Like when we put the Shah in power in Iran?

As far as I can tell, Iran, has WON the war in Iraq, not us.

You're a damned fool if you believe that. Anyone who has closely monitored events in Iraq, and I have, can see that we have won the war there.

And yet, Iraq is the third most corrupt regime in the world. What have we won? Traded one corrupt dictator for a quasi corrupt and questionable democracy. Nothing has been won and we will have spent a trillion dollars doing it.
