I didnt include you in the group. I was talking specifically to the group who thinks obama is not a citizen and that somehow he is part of the blagoyavich criminal network. You arent in that group, are you?
I think i have included harris, dierks, shorty, not sure about inode.

I think he is probably a citizen but I see nothing wrong with insisting that he prove it. He should just do it and be done with it.

As to Blago, I have no idea, and I doubt anyone else does either. I take Fitzpatrick at his word that he found no evidence that Obama was involved. I don't think one can conclude from that that he WASN'T involved or that he was. So, I guess I have no opinion on this.

Michael

I would say that it is a little strange that back in November Axelrod was claiming that Obama was discussing "a list of names" with him, and now suddenly he "misspoke". That's a pretty big stretch.

Also, the remark that Obama knew he was trying to sell the Senate seat but refused to play. If Obama knew it and didn't come forward -- I don't know that it would be illegal for him not to have reported the crime, but it surely isn't something you want to see in a president.

So, I take Fitzpatrick's word for it, but I wouldn't close my eyes to the possibility there is wrongdoing on Obama's part.

I think the citizenship thing is a waste of time....but BO's treatment of the matter, along with the statement issued regarding Blago do raise legitimate questions I think...

Those who wish to pursue the citzenship matter are within their rights to do so....its just not a course of action I would have taken. I would not criticize anyone who thinks it should be done nor do I think they are crazy for doing so.

As to any Blago/BO connection, I think BO would have been exceptionally stupid to have any involvement and he is not dumb. I think you have to let the investigation play out but in my opinion, the likelihood of any connection is very, very slim....but it is Chicago politics and BO is a product of that machine so I have learned never to say never...
