Actually, they have already invented car charging stations that do super fast charges in 5 mins. But I think battery swapping is much more viable. It takes the single most expensive and risky component out of the consumer's car purchasing decision. The cellphone market proves that this model can work if done correctly. Most of us own our cell phones and pay for minutes. What I like most about that model is that I pay for what I use. if I don't use it, then I don't pay for everyone else's usage. Sounds good to me.
