Where were you when Longshort called for Obama's arrest over this? Where was anybody? Fitzgerald has said Obama has nothing to do with this and that Blago is on tape saying all Obama was willing to offer was appreciation, bleep him...

The resident hyenas here on the right would circle and attack anyone making such claims about Bush, McCain, Palin, etc.. There would be name calling, lol's, patting each other on the back, you know, the usual...

Yet, crickets.

BTW, the main stream liberal shows (Olbermann, Maddow) are all over the story condemning the scumbag governor in no uncertain terms.

The Feds did a great job in stopping this totally corrupt appointment before it happened. Just think how much bigger of a mess this would be if the appointment had already been made and seated.

Also note, Dick Durbin, a Democrat, is calling for a special election to fill Obama's seat. Unlike an appointment, this would allow the possibility of a Republican getting the seat.

Did I miss it or was there a huge non-partisan outcry ... against the staggering level of government corruption in Illinois. ... perhaps they are taking extra time to get their composition just right.

The latter is almost correct. They are waiting until they complete their decomposition to issue a statement condemning democrat corruption.

Somebody posted this to me this week: You can't charge a democrat for ethics violations because they have no ethics.

One thing is for sure:

"In the 80s the country had the common sense to see that rampant liberalism was a loser - hopefully the same is true now."

NO return to massive liberalism! Yeah!
