GM and Toyota sold about the same number of cars last year, GM lost 39 billion, toyota made 17 billion. Why is that ? can you say unions ?

I think the Republicans are playing a very dangerous game with this Auto bailout.

I guess they figure that the Big 3 will survive this in one way or another and they'll get credit for "sticking to their guns", but if the dominoes actually start falling it ain't gonna make life in Alabama any easier either and guys like Shelby are gonna have a lot of explaining to do.
