Well... it's onset is dated by N.B.E.R. to late Fall of 2007.

(Last I heard, Bush doesn't leave office until Jan. 20th. of 2009.)

It will be remembered as the George W Bush recession.

In the meantime Cook County style politics is heading for the White House....and that is surely "change".
