Well, I fully agree with you on that.

President's ALWAYS get too much credit & blame for what happens in the economy during their terms.

(Still... they *do* have an influence on the economy, and it's arguably far larger than either yours or mine. <g>)

I'm not sure what you mean by the word 'valid'.

The last years did happen. :-) (Just like the preceding eight years, and the ones before them, etc.)

It's all history now.

And, although historians can and do argue all the time, what agreed upon facts that there are (such as 'what happened on such-and-such a date... what the average GNP results were... median income... national debt... etc.) ALL equally 'valid' I suppose.
