Then, by your illogic, any city can fine a photographer for rejecting any job and any hospital can fire any doctor for declining to perform any service.

McDonald's can serve kosher food and close on Sundays but it cannot refuse to serve white children just because they are white children.

Then it is also a denial of religious freedom to close down government services on Christmas Day and inconvenience non-Christians. It is also a denial of religious freedom to force people to listen to Christmas carols in public venues or to see Christmas trees in public areas.

The list of offenses is very long.

So, you are saying that a doctor can refuse to perform an abortion because it conflicts with his belief system but that a woman has no right to an abortion even if NOT having an abortion conflicts with her belief system?

Your logic doesn't even stand up to 2 minutes of scrutiny.

Any business (like a photographer) can reject a job, pretty much for any reason.

That's not true. A portrait studio can't refuse to work for black people because they're black.

What i think you're having trouble accepting, is that you're in favor of discrimination in cases where it suits you.

To make an analogy for McDonalds, they could, if they so desired, choose to close on Sundays if they wished. Or religious holidays. They could also go kosher if they wished and refuse to serve non-kosher food.

This analogy is a complete failure. Whatever services (food) McDonald's offers, they can't discriminate against who they offer the service to. Whatever they serve, they can't refuse to serve it to Jews, for example.

You want businesses to discriminate against who they serve, when it suits you.

Do you think a Hindu working at a slaughter house should be able to refuse to slaughter animals on religious grounds, but keep his job? Do you think it's unfair that Christians who are against capital punishment and who would never take a life are prohibited from being executioners?
