Neo, I admit there isn't super robust data to say this particular winter is going to be the onset of the ice age, but it does seem to be off with a very good chance based on the data I'm aware of. For example a nearly dead sun is a good start. A lot of desert cover is another. Etc.... We are definitely NOT heading for global warming given all those variables. So far, over quarter of a century of watchful waiting, I have been right and the Greenhouse Effect doomsters have been wrong, even though CO2 has zoomed with CO2 emissions by people. [I admit 'zoomed' is an exaggeration when CO2 hasn't even doubled from 100 years ago when people started burning oil and coal in quantity. Mqurice
