Not to change the subject but in browsing among my links for something of interest to you I found this golden oldie bond chart from about a year ago. It's the one showing the ABX is chock full of sh$%. Anyone who came on this thread in the last 8 months should most definitely take a look at this. I wonder how much of this toxic crap the Fed and Treasury now own?

Prius development may have been underwritten by MITI. This was in the news this Spring.

If you google ODA or Japan's Office of Development Assistance, there's a lot of articles from the 90's where they state they're backing research by auto companies to reduce emissions and fuel consumption.
