The real effect is to further diminish your credibility and ethics as well as the other participant in this intellectual dishonest exercise. As an academic, author, or speaker you are well aware of the requirement for intellectual honesty that requires footnotes and references to cited material. Lawyers call it citations. The principle is the same and it is indeed a requirement of principle. Your coy message to Ron Stuart and the PUBLIC FLOGGING he took at both of your hands was just the icing on this dastardly cake.
