Lula is not sleeping at the wheel. CB is independent. Lula has the biggest incentive to heat economy up since he has got election in 2010. His candidate languishes with 12% while the other guy's got 30 to 45%! Not sure. Brazil's economists are inflation rather than recession fighters. People seating on the sidelines waiting to get cheaper to jump in.
