"I noticed awhile back Kitco quit showing the toronto exchange. My guess is that they felt mining stocks were competition for their gold business?"

They also quit selling most gold and silver bullion products to Canadians...USA delivery only

Kitco was getting bad data from the TSX for a while, quotes seemed to be from weeks before ... maybe they didn't want to pay the TSX big bucks for realtime -g- ... competition for their products not a factor imho, because the more informative the more people they can draw to the site, the better they do ... consider that they hire Nadler to talk metals down, they may be more motivated towards buying than selling, though over the long haul they'd likely want to even out the two and make it on the spread

usa.v - getting a minor portion of the love this morning, don't know why the lag, just others being noticed first maybe
