"Chartist extraordinare" - those were Barron's words. Seems he must have called '87 top. Article is about how '97 looks pretty good, except for those "awful" stocks like Ascend. Mamis apparently thinks Ascend's stock is ready for total collapse - I only brought it up because the Ascend chauvinists didn't put it on the ASND Views Only thread. I generally regard technicians as voodooists. There are much better reasons to avoid Ascend, especially when it appears Ejabat dissembles so frequently and so publicly. Cisco, Dell and Intel never had that problem. I don't pretend to know about the next 12 months fluctuations with a stock so risky as Ascend, but Mark my words, *the inevitable will* happen**. Regards to the official censor of Ascend related news BTW, this guy looks, really REALLY good exchange2000.com He really should get some sort of accolade for being so prescient - even though that too was inevitable, his timing was impeccable, don't you agree?
