I think he's counting on that stupidity and/or disinterest to float him up and over this scandal. With the willing accomplices in the media his expectation may be realistic. After spending four years being disloyal for the pursuit of democrat power it is extremely unlikely tat even the largest scandal would get much publicity. Perhaps Obama murdering someone in cold blood would get a couple days media exposure, but not much less than that would.
