That's interesting.. I see they are offering in the "usual suspect" places where they probably have a glut load..:) Probably, they can at least cover their carrying costs with this deal...

And you are right, they are trying to push the fence sitters off in a quick fashion..

If a company like that was contemplating going bk, would it help or hurt having a big inventory of homes?.. I don't know.. Just thinking out loud..

I suspect the sale price makes up the difference. These guys are learning from the auto sales world.

If you want to buy ones of these, walk in claiming to pay cash, negotiate a price, walk away to "think" about things, and come in the next day with a printout of this offer and claim you want to buy the house you negotiated on yesterday, but with this financing.
