No but not being nice is a lot more fun.

Santa will leave a lump of coal in your stocking. :-)

I have a kid who started middle school this year. The other day she was telling me some of the things other kids do to be really annoying. She's a sweet child known for her politeness but I think she is very insightful and she makes me laugh a lot. It may be one of those things where you have to be there when she's telling it to get it. But here is an example:

Ok so like 50 times in a day after you say or do something say "and what do ya think o them apples" ... at least ten times at the lunch table, no matter how innocuous the conduct was keep saying " Huh? and waddya think o them apples, bbbbub." But only add the 'bub' with extra emphasis if people aren't getting provoked any more, then keep doing it all day.

People will try to give smart or put down answers but whatever their answer is you have to reply, "Oh yeah that's what YOU say." Nothing else, no matter how much they beg for a rational response. Do that at least fifty times a day too. Be prepared to go to the principal if you do it to a teacher because it will break the whole class up.

She had a bunch of them. I was sorta shocked that she was so savvy because her personality is the goody two shoes type.

btw the question "What was it then?" was about this>>>

You said: I lived and did business in LA which is one of the more corrupt places to do business. That doesn't make me corrupt or dishonest.

I asked: What was it then? (I thought this part of the question would be understood from the context: "What was it then ... you attribute to the formation of your character, if not the influences of where you grew up?")
