Yeah, unemployment is about to become the major economic issue as that snowball has reached critical mass and is growing rapidly. It truly amazes me how fast everything is falling apart now, even with the bulk of the financial problems still hidden. Was visiting a jeweler I have used for years at a local mall. Nice, very honest guy. Asked him how we was doing. He said he was moving out of the mall at the end of the year because he couldn't pay the rent. Mall was nearly empty. "Clearance!" and "SALE!" signs were everywhere.
