Re: "I was never impressed with mccain, he was my last choice..."

(I thought that he was past his best "use-by" date after 2000. That was the year he should have advanced to the Presidency... and likely would have but for Rove and South Carolina. :-)

By 2008 he was too-far gone, and only rose atop his field of 2008 GOP fellow contenders because MOST OF 'EM were even weaker candidates (either in the Party primaries, or else would have had weaker appeal to the general public in the general election. The GOP actually picked the candidate who run the strongest against the Dems in the general election. It was a necessity to appeal to Independents because the base alone was too small to win a majority.)

"...and I'm sure joe the plumber had a ghost writer to do the book for him... these days, everyone writes a book...."

Hey! He's just out on the make like anyone else... making a buck while the sun shines.

(What? You didn't really think that he was going to actually get his plumber's license, did you? More money in giving talks. What's that old saying: "How 'ya going to keep 'em down on the farm after they've seen the big city?" Last I heard he was thinking about running for Congress. :-)
