Powell is singling out Rush, as if he is speaking on behalf of conservatives everywhere.

I think it's now time for Powell to define exactly what "conservative" beliefs he still holds dear. Rush will be Rush, but the politics of polarization is bipartisan.

For example, what does he think of Senate Republicans who successfully killed the second attempt at auto bailouts? What does he think of his fellow African-Americans who voted for Prop 8 in California, and does he think the protests against the Mormon church are justified? How about his current foreign policy positions on Afghanistan and Pakistan, especially in light of the Mumbai terrorism that cost 170 lives?

I suspect his answer to these questions will prove once and for all that Powell is now a RINO ...
