"Clearly, a civilization that feels guilty for everything it is and does will lack the energy and conviction to defend itself."

With the election of Ronald Reagan, the American people declared to the world that we have the necessary energy and conviction to defend ourselves, and that we have as well a deep commitment to peace.

What have the American people declared to the world with the election of Barack Obama?

He promised leftwingers he'd slash military spending, would meet without preconditions with each and every rogue leader in the world and also collectively with the heads of all 57 Muslim states in the world all in his first year in office. He said he'd stop the military from "just air-raiding villages and killing civilians" in Afghanistan. Gee, they really do always blame America first.
