Because the Republican party will die. Yep, you actually called it. It all started with Katrina, the first nail in the coffin. People started paying attention. Looked at Iraq, corruption... Now they are bailing out upper and upper middle class financial workers and saying FY to blue collar guys at less than 1/10 the cost. 'Cause they are ideologically opposed to unions. They are willing to F the country for their ideology. Traitors, really. People are recognizing it. Things will get ugly. In the meantime you are right we need at least one balancing political party.
