No one said it isn't "important"... but Yes, our experiences are WAY different vis a vis Buddhism.... who's basic premise is to ALWAYS be aware of what your mind is doing and what your intention is.

My kids are in Catholic School now, and of course the Church teaches intention, but the time spent learning rote comandments, sacraments, obligations, traditions, etcs through recitation, projects, projects, collages, busywork, etc. leaves that in the dust.

The above description (critique) of Catholicism is no secret to anyone who has studied the various breaks in the Church... but that's just MY opinion.

We differ, on that issue that is all.
