Which is probably why no one is pushing legislation for it.

You're a liar. When Reid and Pelosi talk about reinstatement of the FD they're pushing for legislation. That it hasn't [yet] been proposed is immaterial.

You're a BIG liar. Lie, lie, lie.

CJ, > Which is probably why no one is pushing legislation for it. Some have expressed that in their personal opinion, they would like to see something like it. But I suspect that if they looked into it, it would make for extremely complex legislation.

Their stated desires are very revealing. There is no concept of limited government among those who want to revive the Fairness Doctrine. Just a bunch of politicians wanting to control what makes it onto the airwaves.

And these aren't run-of-the-mill representatives from some extreme left-wing districts. These are people in real positions of power, including Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. If even the right to free speech isn't sacred to them, what is?

Obama will have his hands full trying to keep them in check, IF he even tries ...
