On the other hand, nobody had the time or jurisdiction to prevent that swindler from taking $50 billion out of Americans' hides!!!!

Oh, the jurisdiction existed with the SEC. However, Cox, the chairman of the SEC and another appointee by Bush, is a laissez-faire kind of guy: "you do what you want, make lots of money and don't bother me". After all, the markets are 'free'.

The good news.......we now know where a lot of the Bush tax cuts went.
