Tim, you are tossing pearls before swine.

If $50B is no big deal compared to a budget of $3T, then why not simply buy out the $60B in outstanding loans for GM? After all, $60B is no big deal compared to a budget of $3T.

How about we also buy out the $76B in debt from AT&T so that they won't have to lay off 12,000 employees? After all, $76B is no big deal compared to a budget of $3T.

Bring this up to Harry, and he'll simply whip out his e-peen and take a leak:

>>, rather than obscuring the issue being discussed.<<

You really wanna know the issue being discussed? It is the sorry state of your mind. Look, you obviously have the IQ of a 16-year old. You might be trying like a 50-year old, but you are as dumb as a 2x4. I'm sorry to tell you this. Your hopes are high, & you know how to type, but you really should come to terms with your own stupidity. If this were chess, you'd have been gone long ago. But you just keep coming. Cause you're stupid.

Just stop.

Also we haven't spent $3tril on Iraq. But since that's a whole different subject, I'll accept the figure for the sake of argument for the rest of the conversation, rather than obscuring the issue being discussed.

I'm glad you made that point.

There have been multiple instances of these people having read this utterly ridiculous book, "The Three Trillion Dollar War", and coming here with that tripe claiming it to be true.

We know, of course, the true cost of the Iraq War is just under $600 Billion, still a staggering sum, but way less than what Bush is throwing at this industry after that and way less than the $3T claimed in that ridiculous book.
