Ted, > Experts on the local level giving advise to those on the federal level. Like what? How the actions taken on a federal scale is going to affect those at the local level? Obama needs people at the local level to tell him this? Obama will have to choose priorities that will necessarily favor one constituency and screw over another. He will need experts to determine those priorities and take the best course of action for the whole nation. Hence the reason why he needs true economic experts, not those whose first priorities are their local constituents. Although I live close to L.A., I do NOT want a president who has already decided that L.A. is going to be a "priority" at the expense of the rest of the nation (save Michigan, of course). Tenchusatsu
