What should we be doing? Should we all be writing our senators and congressmen and asking them to abolish the Federal Reserve. I feel so helpless, but I don't want to just stand by and do nothing. What ideas do all of you have

The Fed is the lender of last resort as credit has dried up.They must be given leeway to conduct their economy rescue efforts free from sniping and harassment even if this subverts some legal principles.

AMEN BROTHER But what can we Americans do? Ron Paul was my hopeful answer. Writing to Congress is like pissing in the wind.

From the vicinities of Rt 422 to E 76 (into NJ) I saw a lot of hucksters & True Value'er sitting on truckloads of Christmas trees today. They are advertising $89 for a 6-7' Doug Fir.?.

HD smartly had a limited amount of 'Holiday Trees', for far less cost, coupled with an equal amount of customers.(more employees than customers)

Something tells me we will be given Right Dress Root Mulch in the spring for under $2.

As of Tuesday, Rain is in the NE forecast for the next week.

The Eagles are playing a Monday night game so tree sales in this region will be nonexistent if they win or lose on Monday.

How does a dying retail mkt. deal with a week/weak ripe with layoffs & Rain.

Perhaps, IL Gov. Rod 'Bolshevik' (I can't pronounce or spell his name) may have an appropriate way to convey the poop is about to hit the fan(s) for our nations retailers.

Tim
