Clearly the problem with republicans is NOT that they became too much like DEM's... shown by McCain winning the nomination and the continuing backlash among intellectual Republicans against the Ultra right (which resonates with the likes of Limbaugh, Mannity, T.Tancredo, D.Hunter, and others).. but that they got too far from the center.

The constant pro-war "thump thump thump" from RightWingMedia just for the sake of being right (didn't miss a beat, these guys when there were no WMD's) opened a lot of peoples eyes. They just changed their lyrics of the same tune and kept singing even louder to drown out mounting descent.

In the long run though everyone got to see the true colours of a lot of these clowns. I know, for instance, Romney probably thinks he's got a great shot next time around... but after his over-excited, over animated, anti-terroist performance on stage ("we need MORE Gitmo's, torture? So what?")... he's lost the whole middle.

Patrick Buchanan is like middle of the road now! LOL
