We are witnessing the beginning of the end of Wall Street.
Unfortunately, Wall Street has become inseparable from our economy. That is what's kept the steam in the generators.

Without Wall Street and the ability to sell stock to continue the Ponzi schemes, keep the engines firing, and cover the extravagant costs of keeping management indulged, most(70-80%?) companies would not survive. Then it's back to the real world of selling products and services for a profit.
