What turns me off is the way they turn customers int enemies when something goes wrong with the car. Anything they can do to shuck responsibility.

I actually don't have an American car horror story. I've been pretty happy with most of my American cars. I've had a 1960 Chevy Impala station wagon with a straight six, a 1965 Rambler American, a 1968 Chevy Impala with a 283, a 1972 Chevy with a 396 and three two barrels and a blueprinted engine and several American work trucks, International Harvester, Ford and Dodge's. All used cars and trucks.

When my dad died, I took over payments on his Toyota and never looked back. Currently, the cars I seek out are Honda's and Subarus. To me, they seem the best of the Japanese.
