Marijuana is a multi billion dollar business in the US right now.

We are a net importer of marijuana. As an importer of marijuana we fund foreign crime.

Legalizing this already existing business would end financial support to foreign criminal and terrorist groups.

I want to lower crime, not simply provide busy work for police.

Good points. I guess we can assume Chris just doesn't have compassion for all the poor immigrants who make their living selling stuff to dopers in our convenience stores.
