Three of these cases were at the dealer- now my friends who told me this may have misunderstood oil pump vs oil pump seal - they are not car smart. Of course they were talked into buying new cars. My sister with the 83 was told that the engine died due to oil pump failure. I welded up the body rot on her 83 in 1994? She destroys cars. She over heated two cars. I lost count of how many cars she has wrecked - a few were not her fault. She drove into a light pole in a parking lot where she works! LOL
