That's the same search I did. If you look at them though, NONE of them are actual Subaru oil pump failures! Most came up from "oil pump" or "oil pump failure".

There is a video of a "Subaru oil pump failure", but no text. I could find no reported instance of a Subaru oil pump failure, other than the video. That's what I spent the five minutes on.
