Its the coldest weather in Seattle in 20 years and my furnace decided to go on the blink.

Try pushing the reset button. Sometimes the electricity goes out while my furnace is running and I need to reset it after the power comes back on.

Thanks but this is an old heating oil furnace. If there is a reset button, its well hidden. This weekend is the first time I needed to run it this year so it hasn't been running since last March. Who knows what happened in the interim period. I called the furnace people first thing and they are coming out. Coldest weather in 20 years in Seattle and it sucks. Aren't you in SFO? Is it getting cold there?
