Mr. Madoff surely knows something about this scheme. Market makers (Madoff’s operation was among the better known) are exempt from rules prohibiting naked short selling. Isn't it amazing!! Madoff "fails to deliver" on $50 Billion of investor's cash, apparently used for market making purposes, so can it be any surprise that he's probably involved in the horrendous counterfeiting of common stock by failing to deliver on actual stock that he has shorted. Who's responsible for making good on these shares of stock shorted as a result of his market making activities?? Hawk
