You're just wrong Ted. I bought my house in S. Cal. for less than 2x my annual salary. Admittedly, RE was in a slump at the time.

That's you...Mr. Survivalist. Look around......see a lot of people like you? I doubt it.

The only way people were able to sell any houses in CA at the crazy prices were with crazy mortgage types and no money down, neither of which exist any more.

Chris, I did development. I sold real estate. You're going to tell me how people buy houses in LA? Ever hear of trust fund babies? Did you ever hear that LA was the capital for trust fund babies? Do you know how many foreigners buy in the LA market?

Prices will continue to drop. We're in a long and continuing recession!
