There is mention by Globe and Mail that the next budget may contain help for the mining and forestry industries;

"After pledging more than $3-billion to rescue the auto sector, the Harper government is now poised to offer similar aid to the struggling mining and forestry industries in next month's budget."

I remember that back in the sixties (?), the mining industry enjoyed a three year "tax free holday" for start ups. I think that meant no depreciation nor depletion charges for the first three years. It was a great boon to B.C. mining starts. Something similar could really enhance Mt.M without requiring any government pay-out. Will we see it in the budget ?

Hi, Richard. Good to see you in this one too!
Hard not to be underwater given current prices :-) But I guess it provides an opportunity for more purchases, if one is so inclined. Hopefully all will work out with the natives as well at Mt Milligan, seems like the process has been fairly amicable to date. Nowadays, who knows after NGX's Kemess North - and can't say I know all related to that. TRX management appears to be sensitive to this issue and I'm sure Kemess was a heads up if anyone needed one.
Natty gas - mkt valuations below NAV even more so than they were at the start of the year, even on BC and Sask operators, yet Cdn nat gas price close to last year this time, interesting times... ngx.com

Cold here in Calgary too, but I guess we don't drive the market :-)

Hope all is well,
t.
