the point is that i have apologized when i made an insulting remark about a group of people.... i would hope it would be reciprocated... all that needed to be said was"yes that was tongue and cheek"...or maybe a small "G". but no qualifying remark was made to indicate such sentiment. as to rich discussion...you must have very banal conversations to call that rich.... for example i might say gosh all those on the right are only able t make gross generalizations...... but,i know that not so ...so i do not say it. and how about J using the term num nuts...was that called for?
