I thought it was funny, also, and made me more inclined to maybe finally open the book. I bought it awhile back but haven't been in the mood for something so heavy as the world is quite heavy enough these days. I also have "Child of God" which I bought first cause the title appealed, but haven't been able to get into it. Dad just started reading it, tho, and aside from saying the dialoque can be hard to follow is enjoying it. maybe he is a guy writer.
