Any computer geek can tell you that when you demo a new product that isn't quite there yet, you FAKE it so it looks like it works as advertised! How many times have I peeked under the table to find the hidden supercomputer running the fake new model at trade shows... Its very typical of GM's mgmt. Everything I have read about GM in the last 10-15 years suggests that GM's corporate culture is made up of dolts. They need to replace the top 100 right from the get go.
