Keith I think the dollar is stuck in a downward trend now, for a while, no matter what, but it would not surprise me one bit if it's the opposite.

I see the box showing 4.81% but I can't find anything like it, on this site or others. At least not for a 30-yr fixed (unless of course one buys down the rate with points).

I put in an 800 FICO score and a 75% down payment. The lowest rate I found was 5.5% or so.

How does he come up with 4.81%? I don't see any lender in my area offering anything resembling that rate.
