hello pezz, today's report:

(i) following this Message 25254745 gambit, i reviewed my cash disposition and executed enough certificate gold transactions to bring my physical & certificate pm tranche strength from 19.35% to an all-time high of 26.11% - a very extremely large move per my reckoning; because

(ii) i fear the worst of the most outrageous at the least convenient time happening to the vast thundering herd of the majority too soon for my comfort, and so i decided to panic and panic first while the panicking can be done the very least unseemly way; and

(iii) i bailed out another pal - i exchanged his interest in the phoenix real estate club for my precious cash, at his cost, as a favor to him and to myself, hopefully.

btw, the yelling out there everywhere is getting very loud. i expect the sound of dead silence to reign and reign supreme at some juncture in late 2009 or early 2010, for about 12-18 months, followed by weak grumblings until say 2012-2014, punctuacted by false hope laughter in 2014-2015, and then end, suddenly, hammered down by 'freddie is back' demographic sell-down and true dollar crisis.

cheers, tj

p.s. i am now at ...

cash 22.40% (8.4% cad, 1.5% chf, 6.1% hkd, 0.4% sgd, 0.1% rmb, 5.7% usd)
physical & certificate pm 26.11%
re 32.78%
equities
- gold/silver mines 6.80%
- others 11.91% (energies, solar, tbt)

and i have ordered the mobilization of reinforcements for the gdx and tbt legions on limit buy basis tonight.

warning: family and i will do involved island vacation starting december 18th and ending 25th, before the holidays break gets underway, meaning the market, per my vacation tradition, can go very nasty during that time.

You don't turn your radar on and let the enemy know the frequencies. They come back to attack you knowing which frequencies to jam.

The provocation of invading Iranian air space has been going on for a while trying to get the Iranians to switch their radars on. So far the Iranians stay put.

Not very likely.

US military aircraft communicate on digital spread spectrum frequencies with encryption. They also do not engage commercial towers.
If a US aircraft deliberately entered Iranian airspace, it would not identify nor would it communicate. Somebody's pipe dream.

Now if Iran could gets its mits on some of those Sukhoi-35s that Syria covets, the F-18 will be the one turning tail.

hello pezz, tonight's report:

(i) bought more gdx at 30.48/shr

(ii) cancelled the tbt order and waiting for possibly significantly lower prices as charlatan helicopter burnandkaput can go nuts with fed purchase of debt, or make people believe he is crazy, because he is genuinely crazy

in case i had forgotten to note so, bernanke & company are nutz

(iii) went food shopping for my traditional holiday brunch

we are in the season when if it is not fat, it ain't for eating

hopefully gdx and paas will have appreciated enough to add extra good cheer by that time.

cheers, tj

hello pezz, today's report:

(i) hunted down a pink bmx bicycle and related accessories for my daughter;

(ii) converted 75% of coal-trading corporate cash to swiss franc from us$ - a huge move, especially as coal biz is buying and selling for dollars;

(iii) doubled already enormous gdx position on mkt open at 32.84/shr;

(iv) now readying to leave for tropical island in the am:

- only taking along one book, "fiat money inflation in france", to savor its essence and understand its truth;

- alas, also need to bring along my pc, for work must be done while on holiday. no matter, work is fun, and so in alignment with holiday spirit; and

(v) have already arranged to take delivery of dense platinum wafers from high security delivery company immediately after boxing day, before new years eve.

cheers, tj
