Thank you. I think I have learned my lesson the hard way and thank goodness for our good doctor friend who prescribed a medication that has taken all my pain away. I have been warned that if I have anything heavy to come upstairs I am to leave it at the foot of the stairs and it will be brought up later when my husband gets home. I do listen when I am warned one time. I don't ever want to go two weeks again with constant back pain It was just awful. It is going to take awhile before this is all healed and makes me mad to think about this fall. I surely should have known better as I was in bed with bronchitis for two days before going down to answer the door and was somewhat weak from that. I know I am just too independent and this is my punishment for doing so. God has carefully watched over me since I had cancer and I consider myself to be such a lucky lady for all that I have survived from in my life. Think I must be a cat with nine lives and I have surely used up at least three already.

I would probably be in a wheelchair if I lived in snow country where there is also much ice. <gg> I hope you are safe if you come down with your arms full. I agree, that is an accident waiting to happen. I don't usually have to carry clothes down as my housekeeper takes care of the laundry and carries it down to the outside laundry room next to the garage. There are just two of us home and we do take clothes to the cleaners so she hardly ever has a big load to carry down. She is careful when she brings clothes up stairs and limits herself to five coat hangers at a time. She does have good sense, better than I do I think.

Neeka I hope you will be very careful around the ice conditions because I would never want anyone to suffer this kind of pain. I have restricted myself to the upstairs and if I should just have to go down and I am home alone, I intend to sit on each step and make my way down on my bottom. I am just so happy that my husband has been so patient with me about all this and has not fussed at me and goes to his office to work and keeps calling me through the day to check on how I am doing. I have felt well enough to go out to eat at a restaurant we eat out at regularly after I got this medication and was glad to be able to get out again in the real world again. I am just so anxious to get back to my activities and will be so glad when I am healed and get back to my regular life style. My injuries where not severe enough to put me in the hospital, but being home bound is hard to deal with. I think I will never be that stupid again.

My sermon is over and thank you for reading it....<gg> I'm off to bed to get some restful sleep until late morning.
