Btw, have you ever tried to come up with your own thoughts instead of attaching yourself to what someone else thinks?

The public, so far, seems impressed. A few days ago, a CNN poll showed Obama with huge approval numbers. Three new polls show similar results.

Most people who don't live party politics (that would exclude you) are willing to give him a chance. I am, pretty much all the conservatives I know are. We're not going to condemn him the way you people did Bush. It is part of being fair-minded.

But when he screws up, the public will turn on him and I'll join in. I do want to see the Democrats get what is coming to them; but it is more important to me to see the country benefit from a good presidency than to rejoice in bashing a bad one.

I think most people feel that way. But you should not let it go to your head; Obama hasn't DONE anything yet but get himself embroiled in a scandal (Obama's first scandal before he takes office, yet Bush served 8 years without one legitimate scandal; it tells you something about integrity).
