Pretty sure that's not a 'Blago attack' the RNC is running.

It's clearly an 'Obama attack' (he's the target they are shooting at...) as Newt correctly sees.

I suspect that Newt is *also* correct in noting (I'm sure he's seen the polling which strongly reflects that the American people don't buy this attempt at mud slinging and, in fact, strongly reject such divisive partisanship in all particulars at this time) that this is only HURTING the GOP brand with the public.

Likely it is losing the GOP much support (and so... would seem to be counterproductive for the Party's efforts to revitalize it's degraded brand), excepting for one particular: it's likely that the RNC attacks (that are based on mostly pure speculation) are STILL motivating the core of their base... possibly to contribute more money....
