i wonder if that calpers board member who thought the only risk was not taking excessive risk still thinks that way.

i had a coworker to tried to convince me that buying a car was dumb. it was much "smarter" to lease the car and leverage the money to invest it.

he was also looking for real estate property in about 2005, no doubt with all that money he had in his pocket since he leased his car.

i called him about 1 month ago... but he hasn't returned my call. i hope it isn't because his financial time bomb blew up on him.

me, i paid cash for both my vehicles at the time of purchase. yeah, i'm that kind of dolt.
