that's better than the dow did and that should be most of the measure of a good money manager.....beat the benchmark in good times, don't fall as much as the benchmark in bad times.

also, i don't know if that stuff is marked to market or if it's actual booked losses. if it's marked to market then time should bail them out, faster than the benchmark average.
