I rarely listen to Rush as he is on during working hours but on the few ocassion when I have caught his show I have never heard "namecalling"....I have heard him say some very true but harsh things about folks....but that does not equate with namecalling to me.... What some of these guys overlook is the fact that Franken's show was unlistenable due to the namecalling and bush bashing -- to an extent it was simply intolerable, even by liberals. Limbaugh succeeds because his show is extremely entertaining. Franken and other Lefties have failed because they only know one thing - invective. While there is a place for invective, listening to it 24/7 gets old. I typically listen to liberal radio when I'm in the car. And I can tell you there is none worse than Franken. But Maddow and Randi Rhodes are just awful. Maddow is totally condescending and I could roll over her arguments in a millisecond; she's weak, weak, weak. Rhodes is just a hostile windbag. They could have their own radio shows if only they would trade some of their hate speech for entertaining talk.
