It may take years to play out, but either the markets or the Fed or both are eventually going to have to raise interest rates. That ought to drive many stocks back into Graham/Dodd valuation territory. IBM is already trading at a P/E of 10.

If we ever again see an S&P 500 P/E of 6-7, you'll see me back into stocks and using margin. Meanwhile it's oil, gold, Canadian dollars, and agricultural stuff. I like to think of myself as a calmer version of Jim Rogers.

Bush is now lying and spinning about keeping America safe from a terrorist attack. news.yahoo.com Gee, I wonder who was President on 9/11 of 2001, the worst terrorist attack ever on U.S. soil. And who didn't have a meeting about terrorism is his first 7 months in office, despite being told it should be a priority by the previous administration and his own people?
